Start your structural engineering career with Tyréns AKT

As a Graduate Structural Engineer, you will work alongside experienced engineers on a diverse range of projects, gaining experience across the structural design process from concept through to construction.

What will you do?

Support the structural design and analysis of buildings across a range of sectors.
Assist with structural calculations and the design of steel, concrete, timber and masonry structures.
Develop structural drawings, details and technical documentation.
Use industry-standard structural engineering and design software.
Work closely with architects, engineers, contractors and other consultants to coordinate designs.
Attend project meetings and site visits to develop your understanding of construction.
Develop your knowledge of Eurocodes, British Standards and industry guidance.
Learn from experienced engineers while progressively taking on greater responsibility.

What are we looking for?

A Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related discipline.
Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills.
An interest in structural design and how buildings are constructed.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
A proactive attitude and enthusiasm for learning.
Previous placement, internship or relevant engineering experience is desirable but not essential.
Familiarity with software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla, Robot, ETABS or similar is advantageous.
